One of the available October specials is Botox. Available for $11.00 per unit, this injection is a great deal for those in search of a quick, noninvasive change.
Approved for use in 78 countries, its safety and efficacy has been tested in both Allergan sponsored clinical trials and given great praise in medical journals.
Botox is a purified protein produced by the Clostridium botulinum bacterium, which reduces the activity of the muscles known for causing frown lines between the brows that form over time. It is the only FDA approved treatment proven to successfully improve the appearance of both moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows, as well as crow’s feet.
By targeting the muscle contractions that cause frowning and squinting over the years, temporarily reducing muscle activity, this causes a visible smoothing of the crow’s feet lines and brow lines you may have.
This injection is a noninvasive procedure, meaning there is often little to no downtime associated with having it performed. Likewise, the injection is said to be minimally painful, even called “akin to a pinch” by those that have had it.
