Mothers in Tennessee certainly know a thing or two about personal sacrifice. Once you bring a child into this world, suddenly their needs are your first priority – and that is undoubtedly a beautiful thing. However, after you’ve spent years looking out for your little ones, don’t forget to take care of yourself as well. Across the country, it seems that mothers are finally starting to do just that. The increasingly popular trend known as the Mommy Makeover has been fueled by the desire of countless women to enhance their figures and, in a way, regain their sense of self as well.

Recently, one mother of four from Maryland spoke to the Baltimore Sun, a regional news outlet, about her experience going under the knife. Crystal Neilson, a 34-year-old real estate broker, reportedly relied on Spanx and other structured garments to cover up the sagging skin that no amount of diet or exercise could erase.

“There was stuff falling out all over the place,” she said of her figure before she finally decided to take the plunge and get plastic surgery.

Now, after a series of procedures including a tummy tuck, breast lift and augmentation and liposuction, Neilson says she feels better than ever about her appearance.

“I have never looked this good in my whole life,” Neilson said of her cosmetically enhanced physique.

While some women seem able to bounce right back after giving birth, many experience physical changes that just can’t be remedied through conventional methods.
