Although plastic surgery is becoming more widely accepted, there still seems to be some stigma regarding the procedures, especially when it comes to celebrities. Movies stars and musicians are expected to look good at all times, but are often criticized when they choose to have a nip or tuck to stay attractive. Actress Zoe Saldana is not concerned about the opinions of fault-finders, however. In a recent interview with Lucky magazine, the star said that plastic surgery may be in the cards for her.

“My whole life I’ve been obsessed with breasts,” Saldana told the publication. “I love them […] I wouldn’t mind buying myself a pair before I die.”

The actress, known for her roles in “Avatar” and the “Star Trek” films, went on to say that her desire for breast augmentation has nothing to do with pressure from a man or the film industry. Saldana has always wanted a curvier figure and thinks that adding a bit of volume to her chest may get her there.

When considering a cosmetic procedure, potential patients should always take their desires into account before anyone else’s. The purpose of plastic surgery is to make you look and feel your best, and the opinions of others shouldn’t cloud the decision-making process. You are, after all, the person who will be living with this new look.

If you’re interested in breast augmentation or any other cosmetic procedure, you should get in contact with a board-certified plastic surgeon. Contact The Lett Center today for more information.
