As we’ve discussed in previous posts, it is up to every woman to decide how to handle the physical changes that occur as we age. Though once considered niche, plastic surgery has become more popular from year to year, as women across the country decide to rectify the sagging skin and wrinkles that have altered their appearance.

Plastic surgery has become so mainstream that a growing number of public figures have felt comfortable admitting to the various nips and tucks that they’ve undergone to enhance their looks. Most recently, “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Brandi Glanville opened up to Life and Style Magazine about the procedures she’s had done.

Apart from a liquid nose job to correct her profile after an accident in 2009, Glanville told the magazine that Botox is the only facial procedure she invests in. The media outlet states that the blonde bombshell began getting the injections, which smooth out wrinkles by paralyzing the facial muscles beneath the skin.

“I’ve been getting injections since I was 25,” she explained.

Glanville is not alone in doing so, either. Last week we covered reports that more young women are taking a proactive approach to crow’s feet and other signs of aging by getting Botox treatments and other injections to stop these creases from forming in the first place.

In addition, Glanville said she also had her breasts augmented from a B-cup to their current size.

“I didn’t want them porn-style or anything crazy. My breast implants made me feel like myself again – womanly and secure,” she noted.
