JuvedermAllergan, the company that makes injectables like Botox, Juvederm, and Kybella has added a new member to it’s Juvederm filler line: Vollure.
The same filler has been approved in Europe since 2013 and is known as “Volift”.

Juvederm Vollure is primarily used for smoothing moderate to severe facial wrinkles, such as nasolabial folds ( known as “smile lines” or “laugh lines”) that run from the side of the nose to the corners of one’s mouth.
Consisting of Hyaluronic Acid, which naturally occurs within the body, and Lidocaine, for anesthetic purposes, Juvederm Vollure works to reduce wrinkles and lines, while also reducing pain and discomfort which comes from injections.

One of the advantages of Juvederm Vollure is that it features a new type of cross-linking, which will last longer than current fillers- up to 18 months after the initial injection, making it one of the longest lasting fillers on the market anywhere in the world.

In the US pivotal clinical trial, a majority (59%) of subjects saw improvement in moderate to severe nasolabial folds for up to 18 months. Patient satisfaction in the pivotal study was also high: 82% of patients said they were very satisfied at 6 months and 68% at 18 months.

The most common side effects are temporary injection site responses, such as swelling, tenderness, bruising, and itching. Most of these side effects resolved within 1 week.

The Lett Center is offering Juvederm Vollure at a special introductory rate, from April through mid-May 2017, at $650 a syringe.
