First Lady Michelle Obama is hitting a major milestone this week – she's turning 50, but you couldn't tell that by looking at her. Cardio exercises, yoga, weight training and eating right have kept her fit and looking youthful. But would she also consider a cosmetic procedure for an additional boost?

In a recent People magazine interview, Mrs. Obama was asked about her thoughts on plastic surgery and injections like Botox. The First Lady didn't give a concrete response, but said that she wouldn't rule out the possibility.

"Women should have the freedom to do whatever they need to do to feel good about themselves,'' Mrs. Obama told the magazine. ''Right now, I don't imagine that I would go that route, but I've also learned to never say never.''

The First Lady's answer to the question really hit the nail on the head. Working to make yourself look and feel better, whether through diet, exercise or a cosmetic procedure shouldn't be criticized. Everyone has the right to be happy and comfortable in their own skin.

Mrs. Obama continued the interview by saying American women should make health a priority. Making regular visits to your doctor for check ups are essential for living a long and happy life.
