Botox® contains a purified protein produced by the Clostridium botulinum bacterium, which reduces the activity of the muscles that cause those frown lines between the brows to form over time. This treatment can temporarily smooth moderate to severe frown lines between the brows that can last up to 4 months. Learn more here.

Kybella® is a non-surgical injectable that is used for reducing moderate to severe fat on the upper neck, otherwise known as a “double chin.” The injection contains a naturally occurring molecule (deoxycholic acid) which eats away at fat. When injected properly, all other cells are left healthy and intact.

LIQUID FACELIFT

The liquid face lift involves the use of advanced dermal fillers. The dermal fillers used include: Juvederm Ultra Plus, Juvederm Ultra Plus XC, Juvederm Voluma, and Kybella.

Dermal fillers are becoming popular as a means to help reverse the undesirable appearance with aging. The goal is to return the dermis to a more youthful state, dermal fillers could give a more natural appearance than surgical face lifts. Dermal fillers are used to reduce wrinkles, raise scar depressions, enhance lips, and replace soft-tissue volume loss. A variety of dermal fillers are available. Some of the most popular include collagen based fillers. Some of these most popular evolence injections (dermal fillers) include hyaluronic acid based fillers Restylane and Juvederm, poly lactic acid based fillers such as Sculptra and calcium hydroxylapatite fillers such as Radiesse. In some cases, multiple fillers can be used in various places in the face to possibly improve the entire facial aesthetic, in a procedure known as a Liquid facelift. Preparation for a Dermal Filler.

Juvéderm VOLUMA, Ultra Plus & Ultra Plus XC®

Juvéderm VOLUMA® is designed to be used specifically in the mid-face, adding some volume to the cheeks. Voluma is made with hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring substance in the skin that naturally aids in reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Results typically last between nine months to a year. For more information, visit: juvederm.com.

Juvéderm VOLBELLA®

Juvéderm VOLBELLA® with lidocaine is the latest advancement in the Juvéderm® range of facial fillers, developed specifically for your lips and mouth area. It is a smooth gel that is injected using an ultra-fine needle. It has been specifically developed as a smooth gel to give a soft, natural feel. The gel fills in lip lines and wrinkles while the hyaluronic acid within attracts and retains moisture, so results can last up to a year.

Juvéderm VOLLURE XC®

Juvéderm VOLLURE ™ XC, is a hyaluronic acid filler primarily used for smoothing nasolabial folds around your mouth. Like other fillers in the Juvederm collection, Vollure uses Vycross technology, allowing it to produce long-lasting results up to 18 months. For more information, go here.

LIP INJECTIONS AT THE LETT CENTER

“When the XC is behind Juvederm that just means there’s lidocaine – so there’s actually lidocaine in the syringe tube. After a few injections with Juvederm XC the patient becomes more numb.”
– Julie Wheeler, RN, BSN at The Lett Center.
