Actress Soleil Moon Frye is crediting the Nutrisystem diet plan for helping her lose 23 pounds after the birth of her third child last year. The petite 38-year-old says she is down three dress sizes.

“Carrying an extra 20 plus pounds started to weigh me down – literally,” Frye said in a press release on Jan. 12. “I want to encourage moms to feel good about themselves, and I want to feel like the best version of myself.

Frye became famous when she starred in the hit television show “Punky Brewster.” She later acted in TV series “Sabrina the Teenage Witch.” Her former co-star in that show, Melissa Joan Hart, also lost a significant amount of weight on Nutrisystem — 40 pounds. Frye said Hart, with whom she is still close friends, was her inspiration.

She added that it was important to her that she be able to eat healthily and lose weight while still enjoying the occasional sweet treat. The actress says she has a notorious sweet tooth.

“I’m not the person that can live on water and lemon,” said Frye. I have friends who go and live in the desert off of juice. I’m sorry, if I lived on juice for a week you would have to lock me up!”

Congratulations to Frye on her hard work and amazing figure! We know just how hard it is to lose weight after a pregnancy, and we applaud her for investing in looking and feeling her best!
